  • Held in April, the Chamber hosts the highly anticipated Business Expo, attracting over 70 local businesses. This event provides a dynamic platform for professionals to connect, forge relationships, and explore the diverse services and products offered by participating businesses. With over 2,000 attendees, the Expo is a must-attend event to expand visibility, grow your network, and engage with a broader audience. Admission is free, and there are plenty of giveaways throughout the day.

  • Held each January, the Annual Meeting is a cornerstone event offering an overview of the Chamber’s activities, accomplishments, and future plans. It features the election of officers and directors, a State of the Chamber report, and an inspiring keynote speaker. The meeting also highlights prestigious awards, including Business Person of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and the Vinny deMacedo Small Business Opportunity Grant. It’s a valuable opportunity to reflect on the Chamber’s progress and gain insight into what's ahead.

  • Held annually in May, the Empowering Women’s Business Panel Luncheon is designed to celebrate and elevate women as leaders, consumers, and influencers in the workforce. A panel of influential businesswomen from a variety of industries share their experiences, insights, and strategies for overcoming workplace challenges, balancing career and personal life, and driving success in their communities.

  • This exclusive event is designed to bring together women professionals in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Held annually at one of the area’s premier golf courses, this event offers a day of networking, friendly competition, and socializing on the greens. Whether you’re an experienced golfer or a beginner, the outing provides a fun and supportive atmosphere for all skill levels. Participants can enjoy a round of golf, take part in team challenges, and win prizes, all while connecting with fellow businesswomen. This event is a perfect opportunity to build relationships, unwind, and have a great time in the company of like-minded professionals.

  • Held every October during election years, the Legislative Debate offers an important platform for candidates running for local office to engage with the business community. This event allows voters and business owners to hear directly from the candidates on key issues impacting the region and provides an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns. It's a great chance to learn about the candidates’ positions and how their proposed policies might affect your business and community. The debate format fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas and insights, helping attendees make informed decisions in the upcoming elections.

Networking Events

  • These monthly luncheons are a perfect setting for business people on the South Shore to network, promote, and grow their businesses in a relaxed atmosphere at a Chamber Member restaurant. Attendees have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their businesses in a 60-second pitch and enjoy a pre-selected menu. Registrations are made in advance through the Chamber website, and attendees receive an attendee roster for continued networking.

  • Held at a Chamber Member’s business between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., the Morning Mixer provides a relaxed space for networking over light refreshments. Host companies have the opportunity to showcase their business, while attendees exchange business cards and make valuable connections across various industries. This event typically attracts 30-50 guests, fostering connections that can lead to future partnerships.

  • Business After Hours events are casual networking sessions held at a Chamber Member’s place of business, ideal for professionals looking to establish long-lasting relationships. These events allow attendees to network, entertain clients, reward employees, and spend quality time with colleagues, all while enjoying a relaxed, post-work setting. Host companies can showcase their business and connect with other professionals in the community.

  • Ribbon Cuttings are an important Chamber tradition, marking the grand opening, reopening, or milestone of a local business. These events are a great way to welcome new businesses to the community and celebrate their success. Ribbon cuttings provide a memorable and symbolic moment, offering businesses the chance to garner attention from local officials, Chamber board members, and the broader community.

  • Net-Walking offers a unique and healthy way to network, combining business connections with fresh air and exercise. Held during the warmer months at various outdoor locations, this event invites business professionals to walk and talk while enjoying the scenery. It's a refreshing opportunity to network in a relaxed, informal setting, and Chamber members are welcome to bring their dogs along for the walk.

  • Held annually in June, Bark in the Park is a fun-filled event for pet lovers and their furry friends. With over 30 pet-related vendors and nonprofit organizations, the event features food for both dogs and humans, live entertainment, an adoption parade, contests, and demonstrations, including a K-9 police dog show and a blessing of the dogs. It’s a perfect day for families and pets to enjoy the community together.

  • Halloween on Main Street is a fun, family-friendly Trick-or-Treat walk held in downtown Plymouth. It provides a safe environment for children to enjoy Halloween festivities while offering local businesses the opportunity for exposure. This event is a favorite among families and offers plenty of opportunities for business visibility while celebrating the spooky season.

  • The Plymouth Waterfront Festival, held every August, is a cornerstone of the Chamber's calendar and one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the South Shore. This vibrant celebration draws over 30,000 visitors and showcases the very best our region has to offer. From the excitement of the Annual Duck Race to two stages of live entertainment, 200+ vendors, and the impressive Motor Head’s Cruise-In Car Show, the festival offers something for everyone. It’s a day filled with fun and community spirit, providing a unique platform for local businesses, artisans, and entertainers to shine.

  • The Plymouth Harbor Seals is a public art event featuring 29 hand-painted harbor seal sculptures displayed throughout the waterfront, downtown, and local community. These stunning works of art, sponsored by local businesses and painted by talented local artists, celebrate the region's maritime heritage while promoting tourism, culture, and the arts. The initiative encourages visitors to explore Plymouth’s vibrant community and has been a great success in raising public awareness and supporting the local economy. The event will culminate with an auction of the harbor seals and the unveiling of a new public art display.

  • Dancing With Our Stars is an exciting fundraiser for the Plymouth One Fund, featuring 8 local celebrities who compete for the coveted mirror ball trophy. Each dancer represents a different community sector and is tasked with raising funds for the Plymouth One Fund while learning a 90-second dance routine. Presented in partnership with Fred Astaire Dance Studio, this event is a fun and impactful way to support a great cause.

  • The Non-Profit Collaborative strengthens partnerships and advocacy for local nonprofit organizations. By sharing best practices, offering educational training, and tackling common challenges, the collaborative helps nonprofits grow and thrive while benefiting the entire community.
