Committees are an excellent way to expand your network of contacts while gaining insight into issues that affect your business and community. Deepen your involvement by participating in the committee that best suits your goals and interests. Time commitments vary by committee and the extent of your involvement. Most meet once a month. Participation is free and available to all employees of member businesses and organizations.

Additionally, Chairman Stephen Cole’s focus on the Blue Economy has spurred sustainable maritime and coastal industries, positioning the region as a leader in innovation and environmental stewardship, contributing to long-term economic growth and resilience.

Success Story: The Committee successfully advocated for the opposition of the Ballot Question #5, Minimum Wage for Tipped Workers, as well as additional regulatory bans such as the “nip ban”. The Veterans Committee had a successful launch of its first-ever 4-session bootcamp educational training, designed to support veteran entrepreneurs and business owners. The bootcamp was a resounding success, equipping participants with valuable tools while fostering a sense of camaraderie and support among local veterans.
